Ace Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is an out-patient orthopedic clinic with a treatment emphasis on sport injuries and general orthopedic diagnoses. We believe in a hands-on approach to facilitate the restoration of functional abilities.     Undergraduate - Long Beach State University

    Don founded Ace Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in 1998, before Ace he worked with collegiate football and basketball players at Long Beach State University. Most recently Don was the physical therapist for Artemis Racing sailing team during the 34th Americas Cup in San Francisco. In his free time Don enjoys surfing, sailing, tennis, and skiing.

  • Susan Nowell, PT, DPT
    Graduate school- University of Utah
    Undergraduate- Kenyon College

    Susan received her DPT from University of Utah in 2004. During graduate school, she initiated program collaboration with the National Abilities Center to assist patients with chronic neurologic conditions in getting back on the ski slopes. She has worked onsite with athletes competing in long-distance triathlons and endurance running events internationally. She is an avid endurance athlete, and has completed Ironman distance events. She also enjoys hiking, skiing, rock-climbing and open-water swimming in her spare time.

    Undergraduate - San Diego State University

    Renee graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Kinesiology. She plans on pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. In her free time, she enjoys baking, yoga, and exploring the city.

  • Jordan Casasos
    Undergraduate - University of San Francisco

    Jordan is graduating with from the University of San Francisco in the Fall of 2020 with a B.S. in Kinesiology. He is from the Bay Area (Union City), and has played volleyball and basketball his whole life.
